Role Summary

Job Description

This role supports the GwISP function by ensuring the effective delivery of Cyber Security Incident Management technologies and services. The position is crucial in addressing digital and human-reported Cyber Security Incidents, thereby reducing business risks and enhancing the security of products and services at Prudential.

Job Requirements

Knowledge of common CSIRT technologies such as EDR and SIEM.

Ability to solve complex problems involving information technology software and hardware.

Experience maintaining incident logs and processing incident reports for upper management review.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Proven project management experience.

Effective interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels of staff.

Ability to work under stress and handle ambiguous situations.

Expertise in security concepts and standard methodologies related to incident management, threat, and vulnerability management.

Ability to understand technical topics and communicate them to management.

Capability to manage multiple priorities and resolve high priority tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience dealing with cyber incidents.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Eagerness to learn, work, grow, and advance career.

Possession of professional security certifications in incident response, such as GCIH.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills for collaborative work.

Ability to review security processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.

Ability to lead teams and stakeholders during incidents to achieve fast incident management and containment.

Strong problem solving, analytical, and time management skills.

Advanced organization skills and critical thinking.

Strong oral and written communication skills, particularly for explaining technical subjects to non-technical audiences.

Ability to make decisions for improving operational processes within the Global Security Operation team.

Capability to independently lead investigations and incident management to completion.

Responsibility for success and delivery of Cyber security incident response and technology implementations.

Accountability for driving improvements in operational processes and CSIRT program initiatives.
