Job Description
The role involves providing L3 production support for REM & ROS (Payments) applications on AS400 within a newly set-up technology centre in Kuala Lumpur. The position includes managing incidents, problems, and changes aligned with ITIL best practices, troubleshooting COBOL/RPG applications and DB2, and collaborating with business users and L2 teams to resolve technical and functional issues. The role also supports application maintenance, upgrades, releases, and performs performance tuning, debugging, and system monitoring.
Job Requirements
6 to 9 years of experience in Application Maintenance / Production Support (L3).
Strong hands-on expertise in AS400 (COBOL/RPG, DB2, OS/400).
Good understanding of Payment systems.
Experience with REM & ROS.
Proven experience in ITIL-based support environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and mentor junior support engineers.
English language proficiency at C1 Advanced level.
Senior level of seniority.
