Job Description

Join Grab's Red Team & Threat Intel team, which plays a crucial role in enhancing the security posture of Grab's products and platforms across Southeast Asia. This team collaborates with various departments to emulate real-world adversaries, identify significant risks, and strengthen Grab's security capabilities. As a Lead Security Engineer, you will lead complex red team operations and design realistic attack simulations, contributing to the overall safety of Grab's users and partners.

In this role, you will report to the team leader and develop offensive tooling while applying threat intelligence to improve security measures. You will work on various environments, including cloud, CI/CD, and AI systems, and translate findings into actionable improvements. This position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or Jakarta, Indonesia, and offers the opportunity to influence how Grab uses AI and automation in offensive security.

Job Requirements

5 or more years of experience in offensive security, red teaming, or security engineering

Hands-on experience developing command-and-control tooling and offensive automation

Practical experience assessing CI/CD systems and deployment workflows

Firm knowledge of cloud environments and common privilege escalation paths

Experience assessing AI-enabled products in adversarial scenarios

Ability to produce Threat Intel assessments and advise on security decisions
