This role is for a Legal Secretary at a mid-sized full-service law firm in Malaysia. The Legal Secretary will provide secretarial and administrative support to lawyers and partners, handling tasks related to legal document preparation, scheduling, filing, and correspondence management to contribute to the firm's operational efficiency.
Minimum Diploma in Legal Studies, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
2 6 years of experience as a legal secretary or administrative assistant in a law firm.
Good knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document formatting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with legal document management or e-filing systems.
Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken). Mandarin is an advantage.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
