
The Legal Secretary/Paralegal is responsible for providing essential secretarial and administrative support to lawyers and partners. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the operational efficiency of a mid-sized full-service law firm in Malaysia.
In this role, the Legal Secretary will engage in day-to-day tasks that include legal document preparation, scheduling, filing, and managing correspondence. The work environment is dynamic, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Diploma in Legal Studies, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
2-6 years of experience as a legal secretary or administrative assistant in a law firm.
Good knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document formatting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with legal document management or e-filing systems.
Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken). Mandarin is an advantage.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
