The role of Manager in Business Finance involves overseeing financial performance, business planning, and accounting processes related to treasury instruments and products. This position requires collaboration with senior management and various teams to support financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and implementation of accounting flows.

Job Description

The role is responsible for GFM's financial performance, business planning, and accounting flow related to treasury instruments and products. Key duties include performing variance analysis on financial performance, preparing budgets and forecasts, designing and maintaining senior leaders' scorecards, preparing monthly financial reports, managing the month-end closing process, partnering with stakeholders for scenario planning, and working with various teams to design and implement accounting flows for new treasury instruments.

Job Requirements

Professional qualification or degree in Accounting & Finance or related field.

Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in business finance/financial planning & analysis or external audit, preferably in banking or financial services industry.

Knowledge in bank operations and treasury product/instrument will be an added advantage.

Possess strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerQuery and PowerPivot etc).

Good communication and interpersonal skills coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently, good time management skills, able to deliver quality work on time and juggle multiple requirements.

High attention to detail, integrity and business/operational acumen.
