Job Description
The role is within the Risk Compliance Security Unit at Prudential, reporting to the Group Director – Head of Group Risk Assurance & Data Analytics COE. As a Data Analyst, the incumbent will be responsible for managing, analysing, and reporting data to assist in decision-making processes, interpreting data, analysing results, and providing ongoing reports to support business strategies and initiatives.
Job Requirements
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
Experience using statistical computer languages (Python, SQL, etc.) to draw insights from large data sets.
Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with teams.
Experience with distributed data/computing environments.
