The Manager in Investment Asset Infrastructure is responsible for portfolio monitoring and compliance within Group Investments across the AIA footprint. The role involves implementing governance structures, managing pre-trade controls, supporting automation initiatives, and engaging with various stakeholders to enhance governance, risk, and compliance practices.
Job Description
The role is part of the Investment Asset Infrastructure Centre of Excellence's Pre-Trade Control team, responsible for implementing effective portfolio monitoring for Group Investments units across the AIA footprint. The incumbent supports the team in governance structure implementation, contributes to governance, risk, and compliance enhancements, and manages pre-trade controls setup, maintenance, and automation. Additional responsibilities include ongoing pre-trade controls support, assisting business units with pre-trade control rules review, stakeholder engagement, mentoring junior team members, supporting automation initiatives, and handling ad hoc tasks as delegated.
Job Requirements
University Degree in any of the following fields: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics.
Finance or IT related professional certifications, or progress towards completion, would be viewed favorably.
2+ years of compliance, risk, audit, or controls experience in insurance, asset management, or unit trust company is ideal.
Knowledge and/or experience of Aladdin Compliance Dashboard or Bloomberg AIM Compliance Module or a similar portfolio monitoring system is mandatory.
Experience in dealing with various stakeholders such as regulators, legal, investment, finance, operations, and auditors.
Experience managing teams and mentoring juniors.
Familiarity with one or more of the following Data and Automation tools: PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, Sharepoint.
Familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages: SQL, Python, VBA.
Analytically minded with an aptitude towards numbers, precision, and detail.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
