Role Summary
The Manager - Investment Asset Infrastructure is responsible for implementing effective portfolio monitoring for Group Investments units across the AIA footprint. This role plays a crucial part in governance structure implementation and enhances compliance and risk management within the organization.
Job Description
In this role, you will be part of the Investment Asset Infrastructure Centre of Excellence's Pre-Trade Control team, focusing on daily portfolio monitoring and governance support. You will engage with various stakeholders and contribute to the automation of pre-trade controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement effective portfolio monitoring for Group Investments units.
- Support governance structure implementation and compliance enhancements.
- Manage pre-trade controls setup, maintenance, and automation.
- Provide ongoing pre-trade controls support to business units.
- Assist in reviewing pre-trade control rules.
- Engage with stakeholders including regulators and auditors.
- Mentor junior team members and support their development.
- Drive automation initiatives and handle ad hoc tasks as delegated.
Job Requirements
University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
Finance or IT related professional certifications are favorable.
2+ years of compliance, risk, audit, or controls experience in insurance or asset management.
Knowledge of Aladdin Compliance Dashboard or Bloomberg AIM Compliance Module is mandatory.
Experience managing teams and mentoring juniors.
Familiarity with Data and Automation tools like PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, Sharepoint.
Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or VBA.
