Role Summary
The Manager Safety & Health is responsible for developing and enforcing safety policies within the organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
Job Description
In this role, you will oversee daily safety operations, conduct site inspections, and lead safety training initiatives. You will work closely with various teams to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes.
- Lead safety training sessions for employees and contractors.
- Monitor contractor performance regarding safety standards.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
Certified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) / DOSH Green Book holder.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in HSE, preferably in construction.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO 45001 requirements.
Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and safety auditing.
Strong leadership and ability to manage safety teams and contractors.
Good communication, reporting, and training skills.
