Job Description
In this role, the Manager 2 will engage in day-to-day activities that include managing application support and mentoring junior staff within a dynamic work environment. The focus will be on enhancing application functionalities and ensuring compliance with global standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Launch new initiatives to drive business growth.
- Align application enhancements with the digital platform roadmap.
- Ensure high stability in legacy systems like IL Policy Administration.
- Manage application support scope and configuration.
- Ensure compliance with global policy standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Solve complex problems independently with minimal guidance.
Job Requirements
Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience in insurance or IT.
Strong knowledge of Life Insurance operations, including Actuarial and Finance.
Professional qualifications like MII, CII, or LOMA are highly preferred.
Experience in IL/VPMS configuration and digital platform roadmapping.
Proficient in written and spoken English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
