The Product Application Engineer (PAE) provides expert pre-sales and technical support to the sales team and customers on automation architectures and the Schneider Electric system platform. This role combines technical expertise with commercial understanding to deliver solutions for industrial automation projects. The PAE is responsible for offering technical expertise on automation architectures, assisting customers in defining implementations according to requirements, explaining technical advantages during projects, providing pre-sales system and architecture expertise, collaborating with sales teams across business units, driving pre-sales and specification activities for Digital Plant and EcoStruxure Plant solutions, leading marketing activities, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation.
Strong background in Industrial Automation and Process Control systems with ability to design optimized architectures.
Understanding of automation technologies (standards, integration challenges, competitor offerings).
Excellent communication with a commercial mindset to articulate differentiating elements clearly.
Detail-oriented, proactive, self-starter, and results-driven.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in English.
