Production Cum Purchasing Clerk – Genagro Valley Sdn Bhd

This role is focused on purchasing materials and maintaining smooth production operations. It involves coordinating with various teams, negotiating with suppliers, and managing documentation related to procurement. The position also includes updating costing and ensuring materials meet quality and scheduling requirements.

The role involves updating product costing and informing management about changes in material costs. It requires coordinating with production, R&D, QC, designer, and marketing teams to ensure raw materials meet customer requirements and quality standards. The position includes negotiating prices with suppliers, obtaining at least three quotations before issuing purchase orders, and updating purchase specifications, supplier lists, and price lists regularly. The job also entails ensuring materials are purchased with the correct price, quantity, and specifications and delivered on schedule for smooth production. Responsibilities include notifying storekeepers of deliveries via Delivery Notes, informing suppliers of rejected materials through Return Forms, compiling purchasing documents for filing and payment processing, sourcing new materials and suppliers, assisting with document photocopying and distribution, and verifying department documents with the required signatures.
