Role Summary
The Productivity Engineer is responsible for monitoring and analyzing machine output to enhance efficiency. This role involves leading continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with customer requirements in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in daily monitoring of machine performance and support production line enhancements. You will also be involved in various continuous improvement activities aimed at optimizing productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze machine output to increase efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen and Kanban.
- Conduct root cause analysis to achieve 100% conformance to customer requirements.
- Monitor scrap performance to ensure efficient use of nesting.
- Support production line improvements to control overhead.
- Monitor extra parts at production to enhance productivity.
- Create jigs, trolleys, and racks to streamline processes and ensure 5S compliance.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess a diploma or degree in Engineering or related fields.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Experience in AutoCAD.
