Job Description
SearchApi is seeking a Proxy Network Engineer to build proxy infrastructure from scratch. This role involves designing and implementing high-quality proxy systems, focusing on residential networks, ISP proxies, and session management. As a member of a lean, profitable team, you will have the opportunity to shape the architecture of a greenfield project, tackling complex networking challenges at scale without the constraints of legacy systems.
Job Requirements
Deep networking knowledge of TCP/UDP, sockets, and connection handling
Expertise in HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS5 protocols
Ability to write a reverse proxy from scratch
Performance optimization skills with a focus on latency and throughput
Experience with IP reputation management and geo-targeting
Proficient in Linux networking and comfortable with iptables and routing tables
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
BSc or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field
Prior experience building proxy or networking infrastructure
