The Purchasing Executive is responsible for managing purchasing processes including converting purchase requisitions into purchase orders and maintaining vendor databases. The role involves verifying invoices, processing payments, supporting procurement activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.
The role involves processing purchase requisitions and converting them into purchase orders accurately and efficiently. The candidate will maintain and update the vendor database, verify invoices against purchase orders and goods received notes, prepare and process payments to vendors, and assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable. The position also includes communicating with vendors to resolve discrepancies and issues, supporting the procurement team in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and internal controls.
Ability to work onsite in Taman Sungai Besi.
Possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/'O' Level qualification.
Open to fresh graduates and entry-level candidates.
Good command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in Procurement and Account Payable processes.
Experience or knowledge in Vendor Management and Invoice Processing is an advantage.
Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
