
The Purchasing Officer is responsible for managing and optimizing procurement processes to support manufacturing operations. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient supply chain management within the organization.
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day procurement activities, collaborating with various teams to ensure that manufacturing operations run smoothly. You will be involved in identifying supplier needs and negotiating contracts to enhance procurement efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Degree or diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in using procurement software, ERP systems and MS Office applications.
Effective communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask.
