Role Summary
The QC Assistant Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the quality control processes within the laboratory. This role involves overseeing laboratory operations, conducting tests, and maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in daily laboratory activities, including preparing sampling plans and conducting various tests. You will work in a collaborative environment, supporting both internal and supplier audits while ensuring high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare laboratory sampling plans.
- Conduct tests and shelf life studies.
- Propose corrective actions for out-of-spec results.
- Schedule tests for parameters not done internally.
- Update SOP and CSDS for chemicals.
- Monitor chemical stock and usage.
- Assist in internal and supplier audits.
- Support staff hygiene and sanitation efforts.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Experience in quality control or laboratory settings.
Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Familiarity with chemical safety data sheets (CSDS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
