The QS / Contract Executive is responsible for managing the full spectrum of Quantity Surveying activities from pre-contract to post-contract phases. This role involves ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and effective communication with project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Job Description
As a QS / Contract Executive, you will engage in daily activities that include preparing cost estimates, conducting feasibility studies, and monitoring project budgets. You will collaborate closely with project teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full spectrum of Quantity Surveying activities.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project budgets and manage variations effectively.
- Provide financial reports to stakeholders regularly.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Job Requirements
Possess Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent
Strong understanding of contract management and procurement processes
Proficient in cost estimation and budget management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Familiarity with relevant software and tools in Quantity Surveying
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
