Role Summary

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing project costs and overseeing contract administration. This role involves preparing tender documentation and ensuring budget control while liaising with various stakeholders.

Job Description

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will engage in daily tasks that include preparing Bills of Quantities and managing project costing in a dynamic work environment. You will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success and adherence to budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tender Bill of Quantities (BQ) and documentation.
  • Manage project costing and oversee contract administration.
  • Take-off quantities and coordinate pre-tender documentation.
  • Negotiate prices and review material quotations.
  • Verify claims from sub-contractors.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to monitor project progress.
  • Maintain budget control throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

Preferably minimum 2 to 5 years relevant working experience as QS or Contract Executive.

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong measurement skills and a hardworking attitude.

Ability to lead, organize, coordinate, and manage tasks independently.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for Junior position.
