As an R&D Chemist at Sika, you will be involved in the development and improvement of products such as mortars, coatings, admixtures, and grinding aids. Your main responsibilities will include enhancing existing formulations to meet market demands, developing new products, and evaluating alternative raw materials for performance and cost efficiency. You will also conduct production trials, lab tests, and field tests, ensuring that all projects are organized and prioritized to meet timelines set by management.

Safety and environmental compliance are paramount in this role. You will be responsible for maintaining laboratory cleanliness and equipment functionality, adhering to EHS policies, and participating in related training. Additionally, you will manage Bills of Material and ensure confidentiality regarding formulations and company information.
