The Safety & Health Assistant is responsible for conducting daily inspections of factories and hostels to ensure OSH compliance. You will assist in legally required activities such as SHC meetings, DOSH audits, and HIRARC assessments. The role includes monitoring pest control operations, analyzing safety data trends, and coordinating with local authorities for ERT drills and utility issues. Additionally, you will support audits for certifications like Halal and HACCP.
Professional Certificate or Degree in OSH Management recognized by DOSH.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and DOSH requirements.
Skilled in conducting HIRARC, SOP development, and safety inspections.
Ability to perform data trend analysis for occupational safety reporting.
Experience in coordinating Emergency Response Team (ERT) drills and mock crises.
Effective communication skills for liaising with government and local authorities.
