The Safety & Health Assistant is responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health regulations. This role involves conducting inspections and supporting various safety-related activities within the organization.
In this position, you will engage in daily inspections of factories and hostels to ensure adherence to OSH standards. You will also assist in various legally mandated activities and collaborate with local authorities to enhance safety measures.
Key Responsibilities:
Professional Certificate or Degree in OSH Management recognized by DOSH.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, and DOSH requirements.
Skilled in conducting HIRARC, SOP development, and safety inspections.
Ability to perform data trend analysis for occupational safety reporting.
Effective communication skills for liaising with government and local authorities.
