The Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving sales targets by developing strategies and engaging with customers to promote the company's products and solutions. The role includes providing technical support, coordinating with internal teams, managing customer relationships, and traveling to customer sites to address issues or provide education.
The Sales Engineer is responsible for formulating strategies to achieve allocated sales targets and objectives. This role involves creating opportunities for presentations to customers to raise awareness of the company's products and solutions, gathering information on potential customers and projects, and coordinating with internal departments to meet customer requirements. The Sales Engineer also handles quotations, monitors competitors' activities, provides pre-sales and post-sales technical support, maintains strong customer relationships, travels to customer sites for education or issue resolution, addresses client complaints, manages clients' credit facilities, and performs other delegated functions while embodying the company culture and values.
Ability to identify opportunities from various platforms that may contribute to business opportunities.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge in other languages or dialects is an added advantage.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Self-motivated, resourceful, mature, and highly initiative to work independently in a pressured environment.
Minimum diploma or degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical), Business or related field.
At least 5 years working experience in sales environment.
Other work experience in the construction industry will be considered.
