Job Description
As a Security Engineer specializing in Penetration Testing, you will engage in manual penetration testing of web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and networks. You will document and communicate your findings and remediation recommendations to the relevant application and service owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual penetration testing on web, mobile, API, and network applications.
- Identify and exploit vulnerabilities to assess security risks.
- Document findings and provide remediation recommendations.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to evaluate security posture.
- Collaborate with application and service owners to address security challenges.
- Drive security challenges to completion with ownership.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and mitigation strategies.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of experience in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Excellent understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigations.
Clear understanding of networking fundamentals: OSI layers, TCP/IP, protocols.
Experience with GNU/Linux based penetration testing operating systems.
Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language.
Familiarity with tools like Burp Suite, Nuclei, Frida, Nessus.
Good spoken and written English skills.
