The Senior Finance Executive role at Genting Malaysia Berhad involves integrating and managing generative AI tools and other innovative applications within financial processes. The position focuses on automating routine accounting tasks, identifying business transformation opportunities through AI-driven tools, robotic process automation (RPA), and SAS, as well as collaborating with other departments to develop automated reports and assist in project management of transformation initiatives. The role also includes training and supporting team members on AI tools, handling a full set of accounts including drafting financial statements, performing balance sheet analysis, and assisting in ad-hoc assignments.
Job Requirements
Possess a degree in Accounting or a professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, MICPA).
Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
Proficient in written and verbal communication in English.
Meticulous, highly organized and strong leadership qualities.
Experience in accounting software.
Minimum 3 years working experience in accounting such as performing income audit, invoicing, reconciliation, or accounts payable.
Familiarity with machine learning applications and knowledge of data analytics tools would be a plus.
