Role Summary
The Senior Manager - Cybersecurity is responsible for defining, leading and enhancing the organisation’s enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy. This role impacts the overall security posture of the organization by ensuring the protection of information assets and driving long-term security resilience in support of strategic priorities and digital transformation objectives.
Job Description
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the cybersecurity team, ensuring that all security measures are effectively implemented and maintained. You will work closely with various departments to align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy.
- Enhance the governance framework and security operations.
- Provide executive advisory on cyber risk and compliance.
- Ensure the protection of information assets and operational technology environments.
- Drive enterprise cyber maturity and regulatory alignment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support digital transformation objectives.
- Lead incident response and recovery efforts in case of security breaches.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science or related discipline.
Postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
Professional Certifications (preferred) - CISSP / CISM / CISA.
ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor.
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity roles.
Proven experience leading enterprise cybersecurity programmes.
Strong background in risk management and compliance.
