Job Description
As a Shift Lead in Facility Management, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring of mechanical and electrical systems within a data center environment. This includes overseeing chiller cooling systems, water pumps, and electrical switch rooms, ensuring that all systems operate within the required temperature and humidity ranges. You will also respond to equipment alarms, troubleshoot faults, and manage vendor activities to ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent field of study required.
Excellent understanding and experience of electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment.
Experience with complex automatic control equipment and building management systems.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
3 to 5+ years of experience in a data center or other critical environment.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, life safety monitoring and control systems.
Proficient knowledge of HVAC and/or Electrical Systems.
Able to work rotating shifts and on weekends/public holidays.
