Site Reliability Engineer at SLB - Kuching

The Site Reliability Engineer will ensure the reliability and performance of Cloud services, engaging in both pre-launch support and post-launch maintenance. This role requires collaboration with various teams and a focus on continuous improvement of systems.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and uptime of Cloud solutions and services tailored to user needs. Your role will involve supporting services before they go live through system design consulting, software platform development, capacity planning, and launch reviews. Once services are live, you will maintain and improve them by measuring and monitoring their availability, latency, and overall health.

You will also be tasked with scaling systems sustainably through automation and advocating for changes that enhance reliability and velocity. Collaborating with network and security teams will be essential to guarantee the smooth and secure operation of application software and systems. Additionally, you will develop and document best practice policies for new projects and engage in incident response and postmortems.
