Role Summary
The Software Engineer - Backend is responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems for warehouse management and control. This role plays a crucial part in supporting high-volume transactions in a dynamic robotics warehouse start-up environment.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in the day-to-day development of backend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance. You will work in a fast-paced environment focused on innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable backend architectures for warehouse management systems.
- Develop secured APIs and web sockets to facilitate high-volume transactions.
- Translate functional requirements into technical designs and specifications.
- Optimize backend platforms for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot backend services to ensure uptime and efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Job Requirements
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in .Net Core with a successful portfolio in high-volume transaction backends.
Strong understanding of RESTful API guidelines and HTTP Status Code standards.
Familiarity with software design patterns such as SOLID and DRY.
Experience with SQL and database management.
Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous programming, microservices, and monolithic architectures.
Familiarity with warehouse workflows for distribution or semiconductor industries.
Preferred experience in product development within IT startups.
