Role Summary
The Software Engineering role is responsible for developing new applications and enhancing existing ones to meet organizational standards. This position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the successful development, deployment, and maintenance of software applications.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in the day-to-day development of software applications, working closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. You will be expected to follow best practices and contribute to the overall success of the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new applications and enhance existing applications according to organizational standards.
- Collaborate with Solution Architecture, Technical Support, Quality Control, Database Administration, and Infrastructure teams.
- Ensure successful deployment and maintenance of software applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
- Document software specifications and processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Job Requirements
Possess a Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Computer), Science/Information Technology or its equivalent.
At least 3 years of working experience in web application development using ASP.NET.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Technical knowledge in Visual Studio, C#, Object-Oriented Programming, and T-SQL.
Experience with MSMQ, ASM Web Services, WCF, and REST is an added advantage.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and a team player.
