Job Description
As a Software Quality Assurance professional, you will engage in day-to-day activities that include analyzing requirements and creating test plans while collaborating with developers and project managers. You will perform both manual and automated testing across various platforms to ensure adherence to QA best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Perform manual and automated testing across various platforms.
- Identify and document defects in the software.
- Validate bug fixes and ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers to enhance product quality.
- Prepare detailed test reports for stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile meetings to discuss project progress and QA practices.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Experience with manual testing (functional, regression, UAT support).
Familiarity with bug-tracking systems (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
