Job Description
The Technical Support Engineer at Tapway engages in day-to-day troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues for customers and internal teams. The engineer assists users with setup and configuration while maintaining accurate support documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for customers and internal teams.
- Assist users with setup and configuration of Tapway software.
- Maintain accurate support documentation for all technical issues.
- Manage client relationships and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Perform deployment and testing of solutions across various environments.
- Liaise with software developers to resolve technical issues.
- Provide user education on Tapway software functionalities.
Job Requirements
Basic knowledge of computer networking and operating systems.
Experience in project management or technical support fields is a plus.
Basic software or programming knowledge and basic network configuration such as SQL (optional), IP Networking, IP Camera Setting or Linux Operating System.
Must have own transport to travel to client's sites.
Good communication skills in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Strong leadership qualities and an unending willingness to learn.
