Job Description
The Technician, Production plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the plant, focusing on equipment inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position is primarily field-based, working closely with the operations team to uphold safety standards and ensure smooth plant performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily plant operations through equipment inspection and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials and chemical products.
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely and properly documented.
- Collaborate with the operations team to maintain safety procedures.
- Operate and maintain utility systems and wastewater treatment processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance.
Job Requirements
Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of working experience in a shift or manufacturing environment
Relevant experience in polymer synthesis and petrochemical synthesis plant is advantageous
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Ability to operate and maintain utility systems and wastewater treatment processes
