Job Description
As a Unix System Administrator, you will engage in day-to-day management of RHEL systems, focusing on installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. You will work in a collaborative environment, automating tasks and monitoring system health to support application deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support enterprise-level RHEL systems.
- Install and configure middleware platforms.
- Perform system patching and updates.
- Tune system performance for optimal efficiency.
- Troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.
- Monitor system health and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with application teams for deployment and configuration.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration.
Proficiency in RHEL 7/8, JBoss EAP, Oracle WebLogic.
Experience with IBM MQ and Apache Kafka.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
