I went through the entire recruitment process with AIA New Zealand. I have been following AIA's LinkedIn for a while and decided to apply for a role I'm passionate about. Throughout the process, all the managers and the HR team have been wonderful! I love that they have a warm, friendly team culture. Everyone is so down-to-earth, passionate, responsive, and knowledgeable of what they do. The company building is gorgeous, with multiple big companies around, such as AirNZ, One NZ etc. So working there definitely helps you build your network in the corporate world! There are a lot of fun initiatives around relationship building and webinars which I LOVE. The company offers loads of benefits to improve employees' health and wellbeing. Based on my experience, the pay is also higher than similar roles in small companies. I've done extensive research into the company and its people. Employees usually stay in the company for more than 4 years. Because it's a big companies, you have the opportunity to change roles within your field. I saw lots of internal promotions as well, which is always a green flag! Overall, it's an awesome place to work.
I haven't experienced any cons.
