Pros

I think I managed as long as I did because I was working from home

Cons

Toxic management & HR team, if your face fits you may get away with what others would not. A culture whereby the ore senior you are, the more likely you are to get away with certain behavior. They do not like reporting their CEO's compliance training status but are happy to report everyone else's. I o nce had someones behavior described as 'ok' because of where in Europe she's from & apparently.. they have a 'fiery attitude' (bizarre). Glad to be out.

Pros

New building and new surroundings.

Cons

One of the worst places I have ever worked! The training was a joke! The Management was a joke! Blatant favoritism! Poor working conditions! Constant unattainable goals! Not a lot of structure and consistency. CEO are very much controlling of every aspect of the business. Lack of leadership and communication from the top. Not a company of much recognition or feedback. Family members that are employed make it a toxic environment at times. Beware this company does a lot of micro management. You will feel almost as if you are a child. Also the employees hate their job so they tend to talk bad about the company. Training is mediocre and most of the people are sarcastic and treat you like a child. My advice is to find something else ,Unless you are desperate for work.

Pros

There are no pros. Since the company has merged with another company the work culture has become very toxic.

Cons

There are no pros. Since the company has merged with another company the work culture has become very toxic and the lowest salary paid by the company. The company is right now doing cost cutting and not increasing the salary at all. Managers have become so impractical. Senseless discussion. The workload is high. No balance in work and social life. Most companies right now offer work from home this company is not ready to understand people's problems. There is a simple policy come to the office or leave the company. Don't expect a good salary hike. You will get £20 a month as a salary increase even if you perform excellently. No growth.

Pros

- 4% baseline pay for all in end of FY21/22, which is better than nothing/ public sector. - Most employees are pleaseant enough - Good maternity/paternity leave (French model) - Work from home (however a pull to the office starting to occur)

Cons

- ALD Group representative shared news of upcoming LeasePlan acquisition, and said turn over is expected to increase to over 20%, "if you want to leave you can leave, we aren't going stop you", "all line managers to replace with contractors only". Not the most encouraging news for those that stay, or join in the following months. - Lower pay than industry average - No incentive to over perform - 0.2/0.4% on top of the basline pay rise for overperforming - insulting to say the least. - Company thrives on time-served individuals, some directors present for over 15 years makes for a rather stale environment for innovation. - Lots of "The way we've always done it" - with some toxicity thrown in for good measure around some long serving team leaders that do it their way. My favourite quote "Why do you need to know how long something is going to take?" - There is a lot of presenteeism - Loads of meetings with large (costly) attendance which don't provide much value at all. - Company encourages recognising eachothers good work - via a digital 'smile' which amounts to nothing really - back-patting at its best. - No 'coaching' in management, just box tickers. - Management blocking - Occurence of a direct manager blocking training application due to 'no budget', when budget was available. - Poor management/review processing - First time hearing feedback in end year review, no constructive feedback from leadership. - A very closed management chain, poor communications - cloak and dagger / smoke and mirrors / peter principle - Change in delivery strategy with no formal 'roll-out' to waterfall, abandoned Agile delivery - Recommended opportunities fizzle out - adding something to the change 'hopper' disappears into the ether. No real quick reaction to potential savings & customer improvements. - Cross-communications between departments is categorically shocking - management are surprised when some people find out before they told, because they take weeks to get round to it.
