Positive atmosphere Great office Good perks
Slow to make decisions Better knowledge sharing
People, hours, location, Christmas party
Pay, some management, some accounts, no canteen, lack of opportunities
Good working environment with a good work culture
Moving parts may seem overwhelming and process cycle isn't always clearly defined
Lovely people, lots of development opportunities, flexible working, supportive & accessible management team, interesting and varied work, lots of freedom within role
ALD UK has a parent company in France; we have to do admin for the parent company which can be frustrating
The people I worked with
The Corporate Care department is massively disjointed and its all because of management who have no idea what they're doing. Kept making changes for the sake of making changes with no real impact except for alienating the teams and making everyone miserable. The amount of people that have left recently should be of major concern but they act like they're not bothered at all. It now feels like there is such disparity between management and the employees with the management seemingly looking down on us and the culture has become so toxic.
Job continuity, locally situated, Stability
No parking or annual bonus or progression
Good people, location, working from home
Management issues, systems are always down
great team building exercises great HR
Not international-level culture Not very open minded
Good salary, OK offices, some nice perks. Generally everyone is pleasant to work with. Holiday and pensions are good. Some flexibility in working hours, but not consistent across all teams. Good CSR and charity work days allowed for everyone.
Too many inexperienced managers, directors have their “besties”, company IT is still catching up (can be very unreliable and not using much latest tech), disjointed departments, parking problems, lack of public transport, no outside seating, company gym scheme would be nice, and better cycle to work scheme. Building is always far too hot.
Ale ok, good benefits, average salary
Lot to do, less people then work to do
