The location has a good culture of inclusion on the engineering side. The company was started by engineering people that built the company with their own hands. I really enjoyed my connections internally from the C-suite to the warehouse to the machine shop, factory floor. It was a tight company where you could get to know everybody and that everyone seemed to care and understand how they add unique value. When I worked there, there are opportunities to take advantage of training modules through corporate to learn a lot about improving communications, managing projects, etc that were very helpful. The quality system is very well organized and allows the new product development to progress in a predictable, consistent manner.
Career advancement and major salary or benefits jump are sometimes limited. The market segment is fairly mature, and while Celestica worldwide supports their segments, there isn't a lot of horizontal movement in the overall worldwide company.
