Have a lot of friends from my years spent at Celestica in the reporting dept. A lot of smart people have left and been successful which is encouraging. The finance dept maintains a very high standard which the street appreciates.
Like many companies what they say they do, and what they actually do, is not always the same. Promotions were often political and not based on performance. People that were very poor people managers were left in the same role for way too long causing huge turnover and wasting future talent. The nature of the industry is very competitive, which requires constant restructuring so it's hard to maintain a good relationship with the employees in that environment.
