Technical support engineer
Not that many pros besides being able to use your hours when you want if you're sick or PTO. Depends on your case load. If you have a lot of cases you're stuck all day. As long as you are doing your work you won't be micromanaged
Thrown in the fire with little assistance. Can't talk to everyone if you need assistance. Depends on your manager as well if your days will go good.
Operations
Work life Balance is a major plus
No upwards movement. It takes moving away or internally for promotions.
Inside sales account manager
great culture, good PTO and holidays, lots of training
tough to make money if you have a bad portfolio, constantly changing tools and processes, 5 days in office
Inside sales
Good remote job. Ok benefits.
No loyalty to long term employee
Anonymous employee
Clear internal mobility and training budget
High activity level can be demanding
Inside sales account executive
They have great benefits and PTO
VERY limited promotional opportunities. Bait and switch "needs of the business". Unorganized. Upper management disconnected from the rest of the company.
Advisory systems engineer
excellent products and corporate vision
too much mid level management
Good people Excellent training Brand recognition
Constant negative change Poor leadership Lack of meaningful advancement
Work from home. Nice people.
HR wasn't valued for its strategic input. Just operational aspects.
Senior product line manager
Good products, good people to work with. Acceptable pay scale and benefits.
Culture has taken a terrible turn in the last couple years with no signs of change. Senior leadership clearly stating that we need to stop look for career progression because it doesn't exist here anymore with all the layoffs and removal of leadership roles.
