Sales representative
In this business it is all about team. It is fast paced and not for everyone, but leadership in Canada is approachable, caring, and foster a good community. Team mates are always open to help even if not in their job description.
Dell is a large company. Like all large companies there is less chance of HUGE growth - though the growth path is there.
Anonymous employee
Great flexibility and workplace culture
Limited annual increment and promotion opportunities
Isr- inside sales representative
The people are amazing and so helpful
Pushing out the remote workforce
Technician
Nice team and place to work
None to think of right now
Senior advisor product manager
System engineer
Good fun activities but no scope to learn and grow
Too much micromanagement and office politics
Analyst
Great benefits, work environment, and pay
Nothing to say about cons
Senior software engineer
None I could think of
I’ve been with Dell for 6 years, and while there are some positive aspects, several issues significantly impact the employee experience. The management lacks technical expertise, often leading to chaotic decision-making and unnecessary pressure on teams. Technical architects’ insights are frequently disregarded, which hinders project quality and innovation. Work-life balance is poor due to unrealistic expectations and inefficient processes. Additionally, the compensation is below market standards for a high-cost city like Bengaluru, making it challenging to feel valued. I hope the leadership addresses these concerns to improve the work environment.
