Overall, Dell is a decent place to work. The benefits are solid, the people are friendly, and there’s usually a good balance between work and life depending on your team. Management in my experience has been supportive, and you get access to a lot of helpful tools and training. It’s a stable company with plenty of opportunities if you’re willing to put in the effort and move around internally.
The main downside is the constant worry about layoffs and jobs being outsourced. It can feel a little unstable at times, especially when teams are restructured or roles get shifted overseas. It’s not the worst environment, but it does make some people cautious about long-term plans.
