Senior manager
The firm is a leader among Big-4s in offshore consulting. Very mature processes. Competitive pay.
Best years of the firm are probably behind it. While the current lot of MDs started out as Consultants, it will be very difficult for people starting today to grow at a pace similar to their leadership. Limited learning opportunities for freshers who join the firm at this point when the operating scale is so big.
Manager
Great benefits, smart colleagues, decent compensation.
Bad work life balance, competitive over collaborative environment, staffing decisions are often made by who knows who and not skill. A lot of people are happy, but they do not really do much outside of work.
Audit senior
opportunities to network, good salary, good office
mostly work from home and long hours
Assistant manager
Fantastic company to work for
Nothing special, everything great -
Audit assistant manager
Good learning , good managers
Long hours at times of year
Pursuit manager
I really loved the business as a whole.
I absolutely hated my immediate superior.
Anonymous employee
Space to grow everyday and good for new grad
Stressing work because you have to deal with new things and client
You get the right exposure and experience
The workload is a lot
Consultant - engagement financial advisor
- Nice, fun co workers - Exposure to PMD client side leadership - Large firm with interfirm mobility access
- Practice leadership lacks transparency with poorly communicated vision - Low practice morale - Longer than industry average promotion cycles - Understaffed onshore teams with substantially worse work life balance compared to traditional fp&a; augmented with generally ineffective offshore teams - Substantially lower pay than client facing roles. (For clarity, this is not a client facing role and shouldn’t be paid as high. However, when you are staffed to an engagement working alongside project leadership providing the financial support to enable critical decision making and see that your salary is a hell of a lot less than an a first year analyst out of college, it doesn’t feel too great.) - Practice focus on process standardization and coverage quantity over quality and financial outcomes. - Bonuses are laughable (bad)
Loved working here learned a lot and gained a lot of great experience
Sometimes I have to put in long hours
