Pay is quite standard for the market.
Leaders are rather nepotistic, so if you are not "connected" in some way, you may never get promoted nor get assigned to projects. For some weird reason, these Leaders also seem to prefer promoting youngsters who are fresh out of College or University over time above immigrants with a lot more years of experience. If your project happens to end and you are unable to get yourself on another within a few months, you may be also be laid off. I found the organization a weird one, its Leaders, even more so.
