Pros

Good pay and working environment. Amazing teammates across all departments. OT claimable.

Cons

Terrible bosses. Recently, the pay has been delayed continuously including allowances. Sales incentives, birthday vouchers, staff discounts, etc have been cut. No yearly increment and bonus. You stay at the same level unless you threaten to leave if you are deemed valuable in the company. A new department has been added to work in the central kitchen, they would start work at 2AM which is horrendous. There's no work life balance for that timing. Changing department is not an option as there's lack of staff overall. More and more stores are opening but delay payment. Suppliers' payment backed up. Staffs are highly unmotivated and burn out to work, all are finding better jobs. New items keep adding up without removing old, unsellable ones, which means more tasks with lack of staff. With CNY season now, bosses didn't even bother to buy several boxes of mandarin oranges to share among the central kitchen staff, despite the bosses are Chinese. All we get is additional work to increase sales for the company. BOH members are the most underappreciated in this whole company.

Pros

Great team work & working spirit, even though we are quite busy with service especially during weekends. Always good to see regular customers coming back; transparent management & team that listens to each other

Cons

F&B is not for everyone, it can get quite tiring with shift work & customers demand. But good to always have feedback from customers.
