Leader Energy Group Berhad is a fully renewable Independent Power Producer (IPP) with nearly 30 years of experience in clean energy across Asia. The company has expanded its footprint since 1994, starting with a diesel generation plant in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to multiple markets across Southeast Asia and Taiwan.
What We Do
Leader Energy develops, owns, and operates renewable power assets including solar, hydro, wind, battery storage, and high-voltage transmission infrastructure across several regional markets. The company manages a portfolio of power assets such as transmission lines, solar plants, and hydropower projects in countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. They focus on delivering reliable, affordable, and low-carbon energy, with a combined gross installed capacity and confirmed pipeline of over 1,033 MW as of September 2025, spanning 126 power assets and projects across 7 markets. Their growth strategy aligns with achieving Net Zero Carbon by 2030 to support Asia’s energy security and climate goals.
