well intentioned management, good benefits, average pay
extremely hierarchical, clubby senior management aura, slow to act, slow to promote, not agile, extremely risk adverse

Mastercard is one of the few companies that offer great work-life balance. People are amazing and extremely helpful!
There's no major con but since it's a product based company its relatively difficult to get an internal transfer

Decent work life balance here
Expect a very slow growth trajectory
Director
Mastercard despite its size focuses a lot on culture and putting employees’ development at its core.
Bureaucracy of course comes with enterprises of that size but Mastercard has managed it better from personal opinion than similar size companies.
Associate consultant
Big company, secure, good learning ops, work life balance
Specific to fintech industry for strategy consulting
A great company with a solid business model. Would work for again and do recommend to others.
Moving up may require a number of lateral moves.
Manager
Mastercard is an incredible place to work, with a strong emphasis on innovation, diversity, and employee well-being. The company has a clear vision and is dedicated to staying at the forefront of the payments industry, investing heavily in technology and digital solutions. I’ve found the leadership team to be supportive and transparent, which fosters a collaborative and inclusive environment.
As with any large company, some processes can feel a bit bureaucratic. Rapidly scaling teams can sometimes lead to competing priorities across projects. However, the management is aware and actively working to streamline processes.

None everything is good here

Can coast and do nothing because the culture doesn't really foster a sense of ownership, and lots of BS meetings to kill time in while watching instagram reels
Super boring, too many meetings, don't put people on engaging work
