micromanagement, crowded offices. HR and management does not listen to employees needs

Upper management does not care one bit about their employees. Only thing that matters to them is their spreadsheets. Things are constantly changing and never for the better.

Low performance standards and recent reorganizations lead to an execution-level attitude of job preservation/stagnation. Pivots and mergers/acquisitions are the preferred change agent of senior and executive leadership.

Resistance to change to new programs

Sooo many reports, micromanagement to the hour.

Can be difficult to get promotions

Reporting structure made it difficult to get promoted.

Layoffs are very very common

Depending on the group management has their favorites.

Very few promotions unless you move to a different group (interview, switch roles). Limited recognition for achievements in current role and will often not result in a promotion.
