There is always a scandal somewhere in PwC, just look at what happened in Australia. Partners are self-serving and lacking in basic ethics. Internal processes are badly thought out and inefficient. Plenty of favoritism and bullying. Big words about diversity but only in some places. Benefits are poor. No flexibility when things go wrong.

Heavy on team politics. You need to be a robot to not care/be affected by it.

Toxic people and work on weekends

Not that much benefits for entry level jobs.

Workload is too much and grading is unfair

Lay-offs, no guaranteed employment and volitility

No cons that I can think of

Busy season is pretty stressful.

Culture is void of any values or integrity. Sharp elbows, duplicitous behaviour and very questionable ethics

Longer hours, some work not the most exciting

needed better tasks for interns that were more sophisticated

heavy workload must show that you take initiative even if you are overwhelmed with work management claims to speak up when unable to cope but depending on your manager, you may or may not be able to offload the work poor wlb during peak period, good wlb off peak doing timesheet is an art form

A lot of performative people focus, with limited real 'care' for its people.

TOO MUCH WORK DURING YEAR EMD AND NOT A LOT OF BENEFITS

Fast paced. Demands are high

They try to equalize everyone. If you negotiate well to a role and you are hitting the ceiling ot that role, they will stop your hikes despite of good performance.

Can be stagnant especially on support team

Like any other workplace, who you work closely with will shape your overall experience, and there are big egos here

Hours and expectations increase quickly

Workload can get intense during critical project phases and deadlines. Hours aren’t always predictable and the learning curve is steep, especially if you’re directly managing deliverables for senior stakeholders. You need to be comfortable working fast and responding to changing priorities. It’s not the place for someone looking for a slow pace or repetitive tasks.
