If you are not close to a partner, and come in without prior consulting experience, but rather industry experience, it can be difficult to get pulled into projects.

I was in the Wealth & Asset Management team of FS. You get lots of exposure. Good training/L&D. Partners are generally nice and willing to teach.
Brutal working working hours. Some managers would entice you to join their engagement, and afterwards you'll find out how terrible their engagement is in terms of planning and resource management. But by then it'll be too late for you to leave. Lots of administrative work.

Working as a recruiter at PwC, you're basically doing useless work. Hire someone, 2 people in that team quit. Hire 2 more, another one quits. The vacancies usually stayed open for the entire year. Also, to work internally at PwC, you are a COST and you are treated as such.

Payscale is competitive. If you are not sick of quality of work you do, you will get decent increment and bonus.
Poor Work Quality and Dysfunctional Management The work quality here is consistently poor. Despite claims of having employee-friendly policies, these are largely for show and rarely followed. Managers have almost no say. The lack of leadership and direction is alarming, making it clear that management has little control over what's happening on the ground. Crude HR Department The HR department is downright useless. They hold undeserved influence in the organization but contribute nothing of value. The HR Director lady is particularly incompetent, and from top to bottom, the entire HR team seems to pride themselves on being unresponsive, often taking days to answer simple queries, if they even bother to respond at all. Missed calls, delayed responses—it's a constant problem. It's clear they don't care about employees or the issues they face. Disappointing Policy Changes To add insult to injury, they've recently cut shift allowances . This company is quickly on its way to becoming another TCS or Wipro—big, not employee focused, and completely indifferent to its values.
