It’s a job. You will get basic experience in the field. Benefits are decent for the city of Toronto. Had some great clients.
The People. Depending on the team & partner it can be very unwelcoming, cliquey and people openly block you from opportunities. I had some of the worst managers ever at the Toronto office. They would openly judge me based on where I was from. I think most of them have moved on at this point. They would tell me to leave the room and find somewhere else to sit - in front of the whole team, and not even bat an eye. There was little attempt to try and include me in conversations and I felt extremely isolated at work.it impacted my own career ambitions in a negative way. Yet I did the same amount of work and had the same level of skills. I hope they clean up the level of talent and work to find opportunities that suit a wide range of employees - not just the ones that bark the loudest.

It was good. People are very good and helpful.
Working hours were too long
Get to work with highly skilled people in a respectful environment.
High workload. Tech support is inefficient and needs improvement.
Audit senior
Good benefits, lots of events for you to join in off peak (April to Dec), year end closure
Work life imbalance, management thinks you belong to them all year long (i.e. work overtime to complete tasks allocated, and to cover work for resignees as there is no replacement), short staffed, some managers don’t appreciate your work
Manager, markets
Promising career within the firm.
Long working hours, high working intensity.
Financial assurance associate
Learning opportunities. Free phone and unlimited data.
If you worked with a manager who doesn’t know anything then you are screwed!!! There are a lot of incompetent managers there.
