No work life balance / high workload

-Overly stressful -1 hour lunches that you never get to take -Too KPI focused, to the point that it affects your current clients -Micromanaged on everything you do -If your unit partner is also the Branch Manager, you have to do all the work, and you get blamed for everything that goes wrong -no work/life balance -catty environment, where everyone talks about everyone else behind their backs -Low starting salary, with no guarantee of Bonus no matter how hard you work

They make money from your labor

Providing more jobs for their current employees

Can be long hours but that's the same in any recruitment role.

There is no such con to mention.

Personally I prefer clinical rather than laboratory/pharmaceutical research positions.

Very ill managed teams internally and a lot of favouritism happens especially by a few Business heads.

It is hard to communicate with reps.

60 hour working weeks are the expectation, despite the disingenuous messaging around caring for their people. Cliques and nepotism are rife with some really old fashioned leadership approaches. If you are not in said clique, you stand very little chance. When you ask for additional support, this will be ignored, to subsequently be informed you are not good enough. If you are aggressive and dogmatic you will probably excel here.

I didnt like the competitive environment even within the teams or team members. fights over percentages. I prefer team collaboration.

Upper level management lot of turmoil I was there when positions were moving to Atlanta and talk of no longer having Woburn being the flagship location. Dealing with the temps in charge of paying could be a pain

Randstad typically offers temporary jobs. Finding full time employment is a little bit difficult.

Compensation is bad Target pressure Unfair rewards and recognition

Favoritism runs the company usually

Before employees discover their true potential, they are often leaving the company before.

Benefits and 401k plan not the best.

I sometimes forget that Randstad is my employer (and not the Principal Company)

There were no cons to working/ with this company. Amazing Company.

Delays the salary most of the time

Departments don't communicate properly so there is a lot of work being passed around because no one knows where it's supposed to go Lots of politics, most management will go out of their way to bend the rules if they like you Pay is low compared to other companies Benefits need to be better Too heavily focused on Quebec and starting to forget that the rest of Canada exists especially with the Marketing material Lots of people are fake because they want something from you No career opportunities for employees Lot of issues that can expose company to legal issues if they aren't fixed Money being spent in the wrong areas, the systems being used are old and out-dated Some VP level and higher management are clueless regarding what their employees go through
